Hair Mineral Analysis (HMA)

At 3D PTS we like HMA. A lot. Why? Because in our own extensive personal experience we get great results with it time after time, it’s as simple as that.

How it works:

We measure the levels of 15 nutrient minerals, 15 additional minerals and 8 toxic minerals in your hair tissue by sending a sample of your hair (scalp is preferable but other sources are acceptable) to our chosen laboratory in the USA. In addition the relationship between 7 pairs of significant minerals are analysed, along with the relationship between 9 pairs of nutritional elements and specific toxic metals.

There’s also an analysis of your current metabolic rate, the reasons behind it and what that means for you and your body.

That gives you a pretty specific picture of any issues and where you might need to improve on what’s going on in your body, and you get an in depth analysis of the results with specific suggestions on how to go about it.

Hair is tested because it’s a rapidly growing tissue that can be sampled easily and safely. Metabolism occurs in the tissues, not the blood or urine and hair provides a unique biopsy type indication of metabolic activity.

By correcting tissue mineral levels and ratios with proper diet, supplementary nutrients (also available through 3D PTS but which you don’t have to buy) and lifestyle modifications, many physical and behavioural health conditions, including those of long standing, can improve.

How do I get it?

It’s not complicated. We send you an easy to use hair sampling kit, you follow the instructions and pop your sample in the pre-paid addressed envelope. It goes off to the laboratory, and you get the results back in graph form with an extensive interpretive analysis and dietary recommendations.
